| Vehicle For Sale 1939 Chevorolet Tu-dor Sedan with a mild 350 backed by a turbo 350 trans. New mustang II front suspension, upgraded 11 inch disc brakes welded to the original frame. New Fabco drive shaft, new rear springs and a 10 bolt open rear-end. American Racing wheel mags (Hopsters), only two years old. Custom dual exhaust with chrome Chevy bow-tie tail pipe tips. I put on a new plastic gas tank for Tanks Inc and all new filler components to put it back into the correct location in the left rear fender. The car also has power brakes mounted on the firewall with a stiffener plate on the inside to re-enforce the firewall to prevent breakout. The steering column is from an 85 Tornado with tilt. I made a custom oak dash plate to mount the new Dolphin gauges (beige with gold trim rings) and LED indicator lights. The interior is fitted with a B&M hammer shifter, bucket seats from a Dodge LeBaron and the rear seat is from a Ford Tempo. The exterior sheet metal is all original with new running board mats, trunk hinges, windshield divider, chrome grill emblem, and crank block out plate. The body work and paint is 20 years old and showing some signs of aging, but still looks very good. I have added a few extra touches to the trunk area by putting fabric in the cut-outs of the trunk lid, GM spatter paint, and a wood seat back (in place of the original cardboard one that was in bad condition). The battery is mounted in the trunk with new welding cables used for the battery cables. The car has 2700 miles on it since I completed it in 2001. A car like this needs to be driven and that is why I am selling it for $19, 500. There is still a lot of history on this car that I will glady share with the next owner as well as the 6 trophies that it has won over the last four years and any and all spare parts that I have. Call 920-210-6982 for directions to the car and for more information. |
