FVAC SECRETARY'S MINUTES July 8, 2008 MEETING The meeting was called to order by President Steve Hamilton at 7:05 p.m. with 62 members present. Secretary's report was read by Janis Zills, motion to approve by Dave Olson, seconded by Jerry Gordon. Treasurer's report was read by Joan Solamita, motion to approve by Tony Roden, seconded by Gary Duitman. GUESTS Jim Baldauf introduced his "new found" friend of 20 years with a "new smile" on his face. And Gail Renderman introduced her new, first, grandchild, P.J. OLD BUSINESS A car show planning meeting was held on June 27, and most everything is worked out. The final planning meeting will be July 18th at A&W at 6. p.m., weather permitting. The posters are ready, and Diana Klapperich has locations for those who would like to help distribute them. On July 23, from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. there will be an on-air interview at A&W by KFIZ. Anyone interested in participating, please bring your old cars about 10:15 a.m. Steve thanked Officer George Wright for his presentation last month. Gail Renderman sent E-mails to participants at EAA who contacted us about last year's car show, to inform them of this year's show. NEW BUSINESS The August meeting will be our annual club picnic at the pavilion at Lakeside Park. We will start at about 5:30, eat at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass, and as always, meat, drinks, and utensils will be furnished.
